Meet Description:
This is a high level meet, with athletes competing from all around the Pacific Northwest. This a well-organized meet, and we encourage all athletes from the program to consider competing in this opportunity.
Athletes will compete in their USATF age groups.
Expect long days, lots of sun + heat exposure. Come prepared.

This information provides Lauren and Dom a list to enter athletes. Late requests will be subject to a $20 late fee. No registration guarantee after 5/30.
Coaches have the ultimate on say which events are best for the athlete to compete in.
Maximum Events Allowed
Age 8U, 9-10, 11-12 - May compete in a maximum of 3 events including relays.
Age 13-14, 15-16, 17-18 - May compete in a maximum of 4 events including relays.
Distance Athletes:

(3000, 1500, 4×400) or (800, 1500, 4×400/open 400)
Athletes under 11 years old should not run the 3k, save it for when you’re older :)
We encourage everyone to register for a Relay Event this meet! Relays are a super exciting part of Track, and we want you to feel the team energy running a 4×400!
Check in: Athletes must arrive at least 60 min prior to race start time. All must check in with a coach at the team tent upon arrival. Race Check In/Clerking will occur 15min prior to race time.
Warm up and cool down: Please meet at the BTC Tent where coaches will direct warm up and cool down.
Uniforms: Athletes must bring their own singlet to every meet. Uniforms will be distributed to first time racers at their first meet. Please wear black bottoms (shorts/leggings/whatever is comfortable). Please bring layers to stay warm, and sun protection.
Spikes: We recommend a pair of spikes for the track season. However, trainers will be okay if you do not have spikes.
Spike length cannot be longer than 1/4 inch! Please ensure that your athlete’s spikes are cleaned from any xc debris and do not have xc length spikes inserted. If needed, 1/4" spikes will be available at the team tent on race day
Relays:
We want athletes to form their own relay teams, but if athletes don’t have a team of 4 and would like to be assigned to one, please mark the box in the form below. Relay teams must be same-gender and same age-group.
4×100: Check in with Coach Simon and Coach Lauren to confirm your sprint team at practice.
*Non sprint athletes can still sign up for the 4×100. We have be practicing with our younger athletes at practice!
4×400: This is the FINAL EVENT on Sunday. The meet follows a rolling schedule, please arrive early.

Field Events:
We can enter your athlete for field events, but athletes are responsible for their own warmup, competition, and attention to the meet schedule. We do not coach field events as a club.
Meet Schedule: Events are on a “rolling schedule”. Races may run ahead or behind the tentative schedule posted below.
Running events will run Girls-Boys, Youngest to Oldest. Heats may be combined where needed in the distance races.

High Jump - Boys and Girls run simultaneously on seperate pits. Youngest to oldest.
