BTC Masters take to the podium a Club XC Nationals for the 7th consecutive year!
BTC Masters take to the Podium a Club XC Nationals for the 7th consecutive year. With the loss of 2 scorers from last year’s National Championship team and a slew of injuries to this crew, the BTC put together a formidable combination of 40’s and 50’s racers for a single team and surprised the XC Nation by landing on the podium for the 7th consecutive year. Thanks especially to 40’s John Howell, Greg Mitchell & Josh Gordon along with 50’s sensation Craig Godwin who were supported by 5th & 6th men Duncan Roberts (40’s) and Matt Farley (50’s), the Club took 3rd at Club XC Nationals in 2019. The team was rounded out by two age 55’s in Paul Smith and Wes Sealand running even farther down an age group. Another great result for the BTC Masters on the National scene.
The Pennsylvania mud is still stuck to the spikes and singlets, but we are gearing up for the next stop in San Diego, but first the BTC annual Team Banquet is THURSDAY DECEMBER 19TH AT 6:30 PM at The TIGER WOODS BUILDING on the NIKE CAMPUS (opposite the Nike Sports Center across from Ronaldo Field) Dinner and drinks will be provided and there will be a cash bar. 2019 Team Highlights will be made for the Youth, Masters, Elites and Pros. Its a benefit of membership and a chance to celebrate the family of all branches of the Club!
