Danielle has been an avid runner for 10 years. She first began running to lose weight after having her son, Alex, and also found taking him out in the jogging stroller was the only way to get him to sleep. Then she was hooked. One thing led to another and Danielle started coaching high school cross country, running marathons, competing in ultras and tackling triathlons.
She is looking forward to her first season as a Bowerman Master's Track Club runner and the fall XC series on the newly-minted women's team. Danielle holds several road racing master's titles from the 5k to the 50k. When she isn't training, you can find her writing, volunteer directing at Why Racing Events or training her 10-year-old son, Alex for his races.
