Advancement procedures to Regionals + Nationals

A reminder that everyone is eligible to compete at the State meet as long as they follow the USATF membership & age verification rules below. The top 16 athletes per event qualify for Regionals which will be held July 7th-9th at Mt. Hood Community College in Portland, OR. At Regionals, the top 5 athletes per event qualify for Nationals which will be held July 24th-30th at Hayward Field in Eugene. I highly encourage you try to make these meets. With Nationals being in Oregon, we get more athlete qualification numbers. It is an incredible opportunity to try and qualify for a National meet without having to travel very far.

Expenses for non-distance events at JO State Meet

A reminder that we will only cover the costs of races 400m and up. The cost for the event an athlete wishes to register in that is not 400m and up will be covered by the athlete. Each event is $8. We will inform you if you fall under this category and set up a payment online or you can bring a check/cash to practice on Wednesday. Additionally, if you register for the competition and then do not show up (unless due to illness or injury), we will ask for you to cover the cost of the entry.
