Matt Farley

Matt was a high school State Champion in Idaho and a Conference champion in Cross-Country for Whitman College who came back to running in his  40's. He's been on three of the BTC USATF National Cross-Country Championship squads (Bethlehem, San Francisco, and Bend) and in the 45-49 age group he placed 18th individually at the 2015 USATF Club National meet in San Francisco and 3rd in the 2016 USATF National XC meet in Bend, Oregon. In December 2016 at the USATF Club Cross-Country National meet in Tallahassee, Matt earned runner-up honors in M45-49. He "one-upped" himself in February of 2017 at the USATF National Cross-Country meet in Bend, OR winning the national title for M45-49. Matt's wife, Tina, and daughters, Katie and Lucy, note that he is easy to spot in team photos because he still has a full head of hair. Matt is a Portland City attorney and can often be spotted in City Hall running to meetings in his "Track Suit."
